I have heard so so much about Stephen since he popped into and brightened up miss Nicole's life. It was easy to see how smitten she was and how well they connected during our session <3
I have known Sarah since her daughter Chloe was the same age as little Christopher. It was awesome to get to see her and her family and capture them in their element for her. Especially Christopher, whos element is running. :P
I met with the Barnhill Family in Florence Kentucky at a park that is literally in their backyard. It was awesome because the kids got to show me around and tell me all of the cool spots and I got to capture them totally in their element. ripped tights and all. It was a little chilly, so we snuggled together under blankets and sang Frozen to keep warm. Bribes of hot cocoa may have been made <3
I met The Forbes Family at Smale park in downtown Cincinnati. Julie chose our location because she wanted our backdrop to be the Cincinnati Skyline and the Roebling bridge since they were new to the area and were wanting to send out Christmas cards. It is super awesome to know in advance if you are wanting to make cards, gallery walls, etc out of a session because we can plan on nailing that perfect shot. As a lifestyle photographer who focuses on moments it helps be knock that shot off in the beginning when everyone is still pretty excited and cooperative. :P Even though we were outnumbered everyone was pretty game for snuggling together (maybe for warmth) and were seriously super sweet. It was so great to explore Smale park and help them send family and friends a little piece of cincy.
I went to meet the Reburns and their pup Charlie for an in home session, just because. Which is the best reason. So this session pretty much combines my favorite things. Documentary photography, pups and photographing people in their home, so I was a happy Kristin.
Even thought they told me they were awkward 100 times we finished their sessions early with a TON of amazing photographs. Since I spent 45 minutes in their gorgeous home loaded with Target and Hobby Lobby finds I figured I could sneak in a solo trip to Hobby Lobby on my way home and was beyond bummed to find they were closed. AHHH Thanks so much for inviting me into your home, throwing leaves at one another and snuggling in all of the various rooms of your house. <3
Alec emailed me and asked if I would be available to photograph him proposing to Clara at Eden Park. He had everything planned perfectly from the exact gps coordinates to our ninja back story for why I was there so we just had a regular old session for a few minutes. Clara had literally ZERO idea. <3
If you are thinking of proposing you should definitely have a photographer or at the very least a friend nearby to capture it for you.

When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city.
I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio! PRINT YOUR PHOTOS!
