If someone says that they are wanting me to come shoot at their "little yellow Victorian" I pretty much know that I am going to love that person. So I was zero percent surprised to love the McNelis' family, but they are pretty darn awesome. Especially the youngest Mr. Micheal Owen. He is was sweet and snoozy for our Friday morning session. He was the snooziest baby and definitely wrinkled his forehead and gave me the "let me sleep, lady" look. Complete with little pursed lips that gave off his old soul vibe. He also liked to keeps his hands swaddle free to cup them under his chin, Which Kera said he also did in-utero. Its so cool to hear how their little personalities and habits are already so formed by the time they make their way to us <3
In home sessions are forever and always my favorite because of the heart behind them and this one was no different. Charlie spent our time together showing me his favorite stories, finding his stash of wubas and jumping in his bed. I first met the Kuritzky family for Charlies 6 month pictures and its amazing how much he has grown into a cool little dude. Any kid who blows rasberries for kisses has my vote. Also shout out to Nonna - I LOVE your quilt. <3

Amanda and Nathan are new to Cincinnati and are excited to start their new family here. I am a little jealous that we weren't shooting in their hometown, because Memphis, but I couldn't have asked for a better December Day. Yup - This is December in Cincinnati, Ohio guys. It was beautiful.
I cannot wait to meet their squish next month for their newborn session! Besides the obvious baby cuddles I love a surprise and they are waiting to find out the gender.
Nathan and Amanda were so happy together and every single one of these smiles are as real as they get. Although, some may be laughing at each other, not with. Lets be honest, that's the best though.
I met up with the Scott family at Miami Whitewater here in Cincinnati, Ohio. When LC and I were deciding our session location, the one thing she mentioned was water. So we adventured and found a few different locations. Including a full on creek expedition at the end. Letting the kids just be kids is my kind of photography, plus the boys were down with our bribes that if they cheesed for a few they could splash in the creek and throw all of the rocks they wanted. I took their family pictures last year too, and I love getting to watch the boys grow. <3
Ella and I went on a solo adventure to the Krohn Conservatory butterfly show. I 100% recommend going, we both had a blast. It was a fun hour spent together for only $6 since kids under 4 get in free and I found a coupon on their website. if you are hoping to get photos I recommend bringing a buddy because getting the shots I did was a little more challenging than I was expecting. Mostly because she wanted to eat the plants and tried to eat the butterflies. Typically I would be at work on a random Tuesday afternoon, but thanks to her grandma having a sudden pop up, I got to leave a little early and hardly anyone was there. woo-hoo!
Little miss Evelyn Michael is 6 days new and everyone is so excited to welcome her. Evvie did not want to miss a thing and kept her eyes open the entire time. She is one alert little munchkin with a head full of hair and the sweetest little baby noises I have ever heard. Since they are moving into their forever home in a few weeks, we did a super minimalist session, and I love the attention on their love for each other.
Newborn sessions are my favorite. They are just so good for the soul. How lucky am I that I get to capture and preserve these memories for families. <3
This is usually where I write about the family welcoming their newest family member and talk about the cuteness. BUT this post is my little one and I cannot even begin to tell you how in love I am. She IS the cutest though, So I had to share some of her pictures.
When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city. I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio!
