I met with the Barnhill Family in Florence Kentucky at a park that is literally in their backyard. It was awesome because the kids got to show me around and tell me all of the cool spots and I got to capture them totally in their element. ripped tights and all. It was a little chilly, so we snuggled together under blankets and sang Frozen to keep warm. Bribes of hot cocoa may have been made <3
I met The Forbes Family at Smale park in downtown Cincinnati. Julie chose our location because she wanted our backdrop to be the Cincinnati Skyline and the Roebling bridge since they were new to the area and were wanting to send out Christmas cards. It is super awesome to know in advance if you are wanting to make cards, gallery walls, etc out of a session because we can plan on nailing that perfect shot. As a lifestyle photographer who focuses on moments it helps be knock that shot off in the beginning when everyone is still pretty excited and cooperative. :P Even though we were outnumbered everyone was pretty game for snuggling together (maybe for warmth) and were seriously super sweet. It was so great to explore Smale park and help them send family and friends a little piece of cincy.
I always love exploring with the DeLongs. Henry and Parker are the sweetest, their parents are grossly in love and Allison talks real deal on mom life. So obviously theyre the best.
As always, thanks for hanging out with me DeLong Family.
I loved getting to photograph Stella, Quin and miss Lilly while they explored Ault park for our fall family mini session. I love that you can see all of the girls unique personalities in their session. BONUS Nicole nailed picking out their outfits and made me want to go online shopping at all of the Instagram boutiques while I was editing their session. I am disappointed that Ella's whole first year she was missing out on a cute bonnet.
Nicole, please sound off in the comments, because I totally forgot where you shopped for these cuties and I am needing Quinns's cardigan and tights !!
The sweetest three sisters I have ever seen.
I met Brian, Linda, their boys At Whitewater Park which is the same place we met last time. I LOVE that we have photos in the same location over the years. <3
We played with their pumpkins that they brought, we threw leaves in the air, and we explored the “dinosaur whiskers" looking for eggs. It was perfectly fall. Between the cheese pictures, we had lots of fun exploring, laughing and competing to see who can make the biggest leaf pile. Thanks so much for having me capture your family again, you guys are always such a joy.
When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city.
I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio!
