I absolutely adore big sister Ellie, not only was she a big helper with her little sister during our session, but she ended up playing with my little girl Ella for our scheduled mini reshoot. Her smile is contagious and she loved to love on baby Claire. Which worked out perfectly because Claire 100% wants the snuggles at all times.
Claire's newborn session fell on a super dark and dreary day so we ended up doing an outdoor session at Sharon Woods since it is pretty much their back yard. It was fun getting a mix of completely different edits to include in their gallery.
I am so glad Alison was excited about my idea to do a full on documentary style session and be my guinea pig. The everyday pictures that I take of my family are my favorite. So I wanted to see if I could capture those moments for other families as well. I love how it turned out and bonus - I got to eat yummy food and chill with the DeLongs.
I love that you can see what their Sunday mornings really look like. Years from now when Henry and Parker are going through albums this is going to be what they remember. <3 <3 <3
look at these pictures from the last 6 months. Annie, you color coordinate like a boss.
This little cutie and his parents are new to the Cincinnati area so we explored Otto Armlender park together for the first time.
Creek sessions = *heart eyes*
My whole vibe for my sessions is pretty much do you while I take pictures of it. Choosing a location like a creek for your pictures means that you are bound to have some fun and make some magical memories.
When the whole family gets in on the fun
I always try to take mom and dad aside for a quick 5 minutes all of their own. You and your kids are going to love looking back at these pictures too. Its safe to say these two killed it.
I did a 15 minute sunflower mini for this mama and her two littlest out of 4. Logan and Noey were happy to get all of the snuggles and run through the maze of flowers. Loved exploring with you guys!
There is something magical about being in a field of sunflowers when a storm is brewing over head. It smells like rain, the yellow of the flowers pops, and the kiddos are quiet. Like really quiet.
I love that the girls were cuddly and wanting to be on their mama - it means that Tarra couldnt escape my camera. More than that though, I love that they were comfortable just being in front of my camera. Kinslee stopped and watched the storm clouds roll in as the wind blew the sunflowers. It was chilly, so she cuddled in on her sister and smelled the flowers while Addy held on to Tarra and ran her little hands through her hair or traced her arm. It was truly beautiful. I cannot wait for them to see all of the pictures from their mini session of us playing in the wildflowers <3
I was so excited to meet up with Kyle + Victoria again for Eloise 3 month pictures. Watching babies grow and getting to capture their first year is the best. They change so much between sessions that I cannot even believe it is the same baby sometimes. Look how big this schmoo got! (Did I spell it right?) :P
This session was extra special because they brought along Kyles (twin) brother Kirby and his wife Jennifer. When I came around the corner and thought I saw Kyle with a different wife I was a little confused. LOL. Double the babies = double the fun. Bryce is my spirit animal and is a big fan of the white non mess organic cheetos, so we got along great once he realized cooperating = yums.
OH MY GOSH. Can you believe the cuteness of these two!?
When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city. I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio!
