I visited Maria, Dalton and sweet little Oliver in their home In Hamilton to capture them in Oliver's nerd-sery. The first two years are the most important, you really have to ingrain and indoctrinate your kids into your fandom early.
Olivia from Baubles to Bubbles and I have worked together for a few different projects and when I she and Joe moved into their condo I love following along while she renovated and decorated their home. So of course I was stoked to do their couples photos. As if the amazing view, floor to ceiling windows and jewel tones weren't enough, Joe told me that their whole building gets a bomb discount on some of the local delicious food which sounds dangerous.
When the two arent eating delicious foods they are snuggling on the couch while reading or having competitive games of boggle. I suggested that they keep constant score on a chalk board so 25 years from now they can see who is the best! :P
If you are thinking of having a couples session I definitely recommend having your pictures taken in your home. It really just tells your story so well and is so sweet.
Thanks for hanging out with me Joe and Olivia!
First stop - Buffalo, New York!
After some shopping and refueling we headed towards our next destination - Portland, Maine
For the first chunk we stayed in downtown Portland in an air bnb. We spent our time trying all of the lobster rolls and oysters. <3 YUM
We tried at least 7 different lobster rolls, and the best, by far, was Eventide. I would trade all 6 of the other lobster rolls in for more from Eventide. Portland Lobster co was a close second though because they had such an awesome atmosphere with live music.
When we went eating lobster rolls we were brunching around the city - Maine blueberries are a real thing and they were ahhhhmazing.
More sister trips in the future <3 Pinky promise!
Decorating the Christmas Tree with the Neumanns was one of my favorite sessions I have done with them. Thier victorian house in Newtown is pretty much my dream Christmas house.
I have photographed a few sessions in their home and literally the first thing I said when I walked in for the first time earlier this year was - this is going to be beautiful at Christmastime. & It was!
Gotta scroll to the end because she blows a kiss!
I went to meet the Reburns and their pup Charlie for an in home session, just because. Which is the best reason. So this session pretty much combines my favorite things. Documentary photography, pups and photographing people in their home, so I was a happy Kristin.
Even thought they told me they were awkward 100 times we finished their sessions early with a TON of amazing photographs. Since I spent 45 minutes in their gorgeous home loaded with Target and Hobby Lobby finds I figured I could sneak in a solo trip to Hobby Lobby on my way home and was beyond bummed to find they were closed. AHHH
Thanks so much for inviting me into your home, throwing leaves at one another and snuggling in all of the various rooms of your house. <3
I cannot believe that I got to watch this sassypants grow from a week old baby to this bright eyed one year old. Check out this cutie put the smash in cake smash and then scroll to the bottom for a blast from the past.
Annie and Jeremy threw Evvie's first birthday bash at Rhinegeist. It was such a great idea and like their invite said " Evelyn will be one, And her knowledge about it is none, So let's use her first year, As an excuse to drink beer!" & eat cake and cookies and pizza from goodfellas. Yup, sounds good to me.

In home sessions are forever and always my favorite because of the heart behind them and this one was no different. Charlie spent our time together showing me his favorite stories, finding his stash of wubas and jumping in his bed. I first met the Kuritzky family for Charlies 6 month pictures and its amazing how much he has grown into a cool little dude. Any kid who blows rasberries for kisses has my vote. Also shout out to Nonna - I LOVE your quilt. <3

When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city.
I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio!
