First stop - Buffalo, New York!
After some shopping and refueling we headed towards our next destination - Portland, Maine For the first chunk we stayed in downtown Portland in an air bnb. We spent our time trying all of the lobster rolls and oysters. <3 YUM We tried at least 7 different lobster rolls, and the best, by far, was Eventide. I would trade all 6 of the other lobster rolls in for more from Eventide. Portland Lobster co was a close second though because they had such an awesome atmosphere with live music. When we went eating lobster rolls we were brunching around the city - Maine blueberries are a real thing and they were ahhhhmazing.
More sister trips in the future <3 Pinky promise!
Give me all of the fandom. I love when parents nerd out on nurseries and Aurora's Totoro nursery did not disappoint. This is 1000% a perfect example of why I love to shoot in home to capture little newborn details.
Decorating the Christmas Tree with the Neumanns was one of my favorite sessions I have done with them. Thier victorian house in Newtown is pretty much my dream Christmas house.
I have photographed a few sessions in their home and literally the first thing I said when I walked in for the first time earlier this year was - this is going to be beautiful at Christmastime. & It was! Gotta scroll to the end because she blows a kiss! I get some awesome submissions into my contact form, and there are usually giveaways that let me know that I am going to love my couple. For instance, the Moorehouse contact form had words like "present", "adventuring despite the weather" and asked me to capture their yearly tradition of re-reading their vows and well wishes from the tables from their wedding day. Which is an excellent idea if you are wedding planning!
We started their session off in home, which is forever and always my favorite and then went around the corner to French Park. They are big time hikers so I am thankful they brought me along on a little adventure to capture their story. The Deans were the very last family I shop for my 2018 Christmas winter minis and the best for last saying is always true. Nothing says Christmas Card picture like Fenway and Evie snuggling. Likewise nothing says awesome dad like Micah throwing Evie in the air even though he felt like death warmed over. :P Thanks for coming out guys <3
This was the first session I have had with Ashley, Carlos and Devyn, but I felt like I had known them forever when I met them at the Christmas Tree farm for our mini session. Except maybe Devyn, she was a little skeptical at first, but eventually I got to see her beautiful dimples. It was so easy to capture their love and connection with each other. <3
So excited to see the Webster family again, it has been just a few short weeks since we were welcoming little miss and now we are celebrating her first Christmas. Plus any excuse to dress her up and buy little Christmas booties, amirite?!
Can you believe how much she has grown since her newborn session!?! I love getting to watch my families grow, and those first few weeks really make a difference. <3 Check her out here. I met the Huber family at a little Christmas Tree farm for their first photos as a family of four. Little Greta was a bomb dot comb big sister and was so proud to show him off to me. <3

When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city.
I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio! PRINT YOUR PHOTOS!
