Sydney and Tyler got married in Dayton,Ohio and I am so glad that Emily Rochelle Photography asked me to shoot with her. I love second shooting with other Cincinnati Wedding Photographers. It is so fun to get to connect with someone who has the same passion that you do. Their rustic barn wedding was entirely diy since Sydney is super crafty.
The bride tribe were all so happy to be by her side and Tyler could NOT keep his hands of his bride. So all in all it was a blast to capture their celebration.
Amanda and Nathan are from Memphis, Tennessee but are putting down roots here in Cincinnati. I love how they incorporated Tennessee into Noah's nursery. Everything had a story behind it, even the rocking chair is an heirloom. <3 I met with them a few months ago for their maternity session. Where they twirled in a field, sipped cocoa and speculated if they were going to have a boy or a girl. This time they have their baby boy Noah in their hands, but the love is still the same.
Meet little miss Grey.
When Shelly told me that her name was Daphne but they were going to call her Grey my first thought was that she sounded like the lead in a good story. I feel like this collection of photos captures our Grey pretty darn well. Posed with her hand under her chin, legs crossed and a smirk .... and throwin up double middle fingers. Don't worry, you didnt miss that - its the next picture, look closely! :P
ITS A BOY!
I felt in the know the week leading up to the Whitehouses' gender reveal. For baby number three they decided to enlist their sister Katie and I to surprise them in style with smoke bombs. Megan may have even slid into my Instagram dms trying to get a clue. We met up in downtown loveland, where they lived, and explored the snowy banks of the little miami. It was gorgeous. The BLUE popped in the snow.
After we went to the loveland sweet shop. We continued the blue theme with rock candy & a unicorn ice cream. The ice cream wasn't blue, but it was unicorn ice cream so we had to get it. it made for one sweet Saturday <3
I was so excited that the Simciks chose to do a 6 month session for the boys because one of my favorite job perks is that I get to watch my littles grow. Some of their mannerisms are still the same and some of the photos I took are the spitting image from their newborn session. Its bitter sweet to see the comparison already.
In one of the above pictures you can see the octopuses that their grandma knitted because studies have shown that they can help premature babies. They are still a fan of the tentacles, especially eating them, so we definitely had to incorporate those in our session again too . <3
We had such a great time and at the end the boys both fell asleep at the same time. #parentwin !
THROWBACK TO 6 MONTHS AGO
LOOK HOW LITTLE! click on any of the below chair shots to see how much Evvie has grown and cry <3
This little man was born on the eve of Christmas eve and was home in time for Christmas, the best gift the Hughes could have asked for. I love that they brought the season into their session. His santa hat and the Christmas lights are perfect. Bonus points that he is adorable, I am in love with his head full of hair and pursed little lips. <3
Erin's and Stephen asked me to come take pictures of their 6 week old sweetheart Adalyn in Erin's parents home in Loveland. She had the sweetest smiles, sleepy yawns and a few smirks too. <3
ALSO LOOK AT THOSE CUTE LITTLE BABY FEETS!!!
I wanted to thank everyone for being so understanding of my absence while I have spent most of the month of December turning my focus on my family and friends. I hope that you are all having an amazing Holiday Season <3
The time off spent equal parts adventuring and relaxing was nice, but I am so excited for what 2018 has in store for me and I cannot wait to connect with you all in the new year.
Amanda and Nathan are new to Cincinnati and are excited to start their new family here. I am a little jealous that we weren't shooting in their hometown, because Memphis, but I couldn't have asked for a better December Day. Yup - This is December in Cincinnati, Ohio guys. It was beautiful.
I cannot wait to meet their squish next month for their newborn session! Besides the obvious baby cuddles I love a surprise and they are waiting to find out the gender.
Nathan and Amanda were so happy together and every single one of these smiles are as real as they get. Although, some may be laughing at each other, not with. Lets be honest, that's the best though.
When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city. I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio!
