Joan is the youngest of her siblings and when she let me know that her sister was going to be in town we decided to do a session to capture a rare visit where they were reunited. I love that I was able to capture these real laughs as they shared their memories together.
Olivia runs a lifestyle blog on Instagram . She asked me to take some pictures for her blog and I was a little nervous because 1. I haven't shot this sort of session before and 2. I have no style. Everyone know knows me knows I am 94% bun and leggings. I was so glad that she was, "awkward" as she put it, but I am going to say easy to get along with and so sweet. She really looks elegant and put together like this in real life, so I was a little nervous that I wouldn't be at the cool kids table, but guys - shes chill. Plus shes magic, I cant believe she found a lipstick that matched her dress that dead on.
Head on over to Baubles to Bubbles to see more Olivia.
If you're the kinda girl that will walk in two inches of water in stilettos to get to the middle of the fountains for a shot - your my kinda girl.

Twins run in the family, so Lindsay wanted to incorporate a print of her great grandmother holding her mom and aunt. I love the legacy of this picture and the stories that photographs tell.
I love how clean and simple their nursery was. Having two cribs in the room could feel small, but the light bright feel and blue and oranges pop were perfect.
Hands Full | Full Heart
I have known Sarah and my husband has known Mitch since high school. Seeing them both together married and being able to capture the excitement they share to start a family was truly amazing. Sarah is rocking motherhood already and looked fabulous the entire time. Which is amazing considering it was 92 degrees and humid. I am so glad you decided to have maternity pictures done to capture this moment in your lives and the epic-ness of Mitch's beard before you make it shave it off! HAHA
I cannot wait to meet and love on your little man in September <3
I loved second shooting Keith and Ellen's beautiful Catholic wedding at Xavier University. Their day was full of love and joy. Plus - Check out Ellen's dress. STUNNING.
Those first look moments <3
Keith + Ellen had a beautiful catholic ceremony at Bellarmine Chapel on the grounds of Xavier University.
What God joins together, let no one put asunder
CHEERS! Off to Krohns Conservatory to celebrate the reception
I cannot believe how gorgeous Logan + Justin's wedding was at Miami University in Oxford. I was a second shooter for Emily Rochelle Photography and got to spend the first half of my day with the guys. We explored brick street and they killed 20 minutes and got a pint, or two, Don't worry. The littlest had apple juice, but when in Oxford.
According to Miami folklore, couples who kiss at the Upham arch will get married. Since Jordan + Justin met at Miami and will be getting married here as well they will be “Miami Mergers.” Couldn't think of a better place for a first look.
The ceremony was held in the Sesquicentennial Chapel right on campus. Emily and I were swooning over its simple elegance and charm. All of the details came together and their "I dos" were beautiful.
I loved exploring The Cincinnati Nature Center with Megan. This mama understood my inability to ever call it the right name ( I have it in my brain as Milford Nature Center) and was impressively limbo-ing under tree branches way better than I was.
<3 You can see how excited she is to meet her baby boy, she truly glows. I know sweet Will is worth the wait.
I met up with the Scott family at Miami Whitewater here in Cincinnati, Ohio. When LC and I were deciding our session location, the one thing she mentioned was water. So we adventured and found a few different locations. Including a full on creek expedition at the end. Letting the kids just be kids is my kind of photography, plus the boys were down with our bribes that if they cheesed for a few they could splash in the creek and throw all of the rocks they wanted. I took their family pictures last year too, and I love getting to watch the boys grow. <3
When my camera is charging you can find me playing with my little family or trying yummy new foods around the city. I promise to tell horrible jokes and will probably be more awkward than you, but by the end of the day we will all be laughing. Which is how I get the real natural smiles that you see in my portfolio!
